The below document outlines the terms and conditions for the competition.

 

1. Introduction

 

1.1 These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the PLASMAIDE Competition ("Competition") run by PLASMAIDE ("Organiser").

 

1.2 The Competition is a game of skill and is open to legal residents of Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, the European Union and United States who meet the eligibility criteria set forth below.

 

1.3 By entering the Competition, participants agree to abide by these Terms.


2. Important Dates

 

2.1 Competition Start Date: July 13th, 2026, 9am (AEST)

 

2.2 Competition Close Date: July 27th, 2026, 9am (AEST)

 

2.3 Winner Announcement Date: Within 7 days of competition close date

 

2.4 Travel Dates: Thursday August 20th, 2026 (arrival into St Moritz) and Sunday August 23rd, 2026 (departure from St Moritz) *Dates are subject to change


3. Prize Information

 

3.1 Two winners (one male and one female) will receive the following prize package:

  • Return-trip flights to St Moritz, Switzerland. Flights will be from the winner's closest major city airport that services the destination needed.
  • Accommodation for three (3) nights (20th August 2026, 21st August 2026 and 22nd August 2026) in St Moritz, Switzerland.
  • Airport transfers to and from Engadin International Airport, Switzerland to accommodation and if required transport to and from training session location.
  • Breakfast and lunch included on Friday 21st August 2026 and Saturday 22nd August 2026
  • Access to training with triathletes Gustav Iden & Kristian Blummenfelt. Training will be a running and swimming session. Winners to pack appropriate training attire for elite level running and swimming training sessions, including wetsuits for swimming.
  • Tracked training metrics including but not limited to cardiovascular and metabolic testing, such as VO2 Max test, lactate threshold test, metabolic efficiency test. Sweat and electrolyte testing, such as sweat sodium concentration test, sweat rate testing
  • Dinner with Kristian Blummenfelt and Gustav Iden on one night

3.2 Training session will take place on Friday 21st August 2026 and Saturday 22nd August 2026.. The winners will be advised of the exact time and location closer to the date. *Training dates are subject to change. Winners will be advised of any date changes.

 

3.3 Thursday 20th August 2026, is a planned arrival day for winners to arrive in Switzerland. There will be nothing planned on this day and the winners can spend it how they like depending on their arrival time to Switzerland. Sunday 23rd August is also a planned travel day for winners to depart Switzerland. Winners can choose to stay on in Switzerland if they wish, all costs associated with and incurred on any additional days will not be covered by the Organiser.


3.4 Participation in scientific research including the use of a VO2 master analyser is optional and subject to written consent from the winners doctor (see 6.1).


3.5 The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.

 

3.6 The winners can bring a bike with them if they choose. All travel costs associated with this including excess baggage costs will be at the winners expense and will not be covered by the Organiser.

 

3.7 Total prize value estimated at $40,000 AUD (prize value will vary dependant on winners location)

 


4. Entry Information

 

4.1 To enter, participants must:

  1. Purchase one (1) Mixed 6 Pack of PLASMAIDE or one (1) 14-pack of PLASMAIDE from plasmaide.com 
  2. Submit an entry form on plasmaide.com website page ‘TWTC’ and answer the following:
    • Name,
    • Email address
    • Phone number
    • Order number
    • Country of residence
    • Answer the following question in 100 words or less: "Tell us about your triathlon experience & what you want to gain from training with Gustav Iden & Kristian Blummenfelt."

4.2 The Competition is limited to one entry per order. Multiple entries are allowed if participants make multiple purchases and submit multiple entry forms. .

4.3 Entries must be submitted before 8:59AM (AEST) on July 27th, 2026.

4.4 Late, incomplete, or fraudulent entries will be disqualified.

 

4.5 Alternative method of entry - No Purchase Necessary: Residents of Australia, United Kingdom, European Union, and United States may enter without making a purchase by submitting their name, contact information, and response to the Competition Question to postal address 80 Shore Street W, Ormiston QLD 4160 Australia during the Competition Period. Entries submitted via this method will be judged on the same criteria as entries with a purchase of a 14 pack and Mixed 6 Pack.


5. Judging and Winner Selection

 

5.1 The winners will be selected based on creativity, originality, and passion demonstrated in their written responses and fulfilment of all entry requirements.

 

5.2 A panel of judges appointed by the Organiser will determine the winners. The decision of the judges is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

5.3 Winners will be notified via email and/or phone within seven (7) days of the competition close date.

5.4 If a winner does not claim their prize within three (3) days of notification, a runner-up will be selected.

 

5.5 If an American based winner is selected. U.S Winner must submit a completed W-9 and will receive a 1099-MISC if required by law.


6. Eligibility Criteria

 

6.1 Participants must:

  • Be 18 years or older at the time of entry
  • Have a valid passport with at least 6 months’ validity from the travel date
  • Be physically capable of participating in the training sessions. A medical clearance from the winners doctor will be required to confirm that the winner has no medical concerns and is fit to take part in the training sessions and in the altitude condition and VO2 measurements.
  • Obtain their own travel insurance. The Organiser is not responsible for injury, illness, travel disruptions, lost or misplaced luggage.

6.2 Employees, affiliates, and immediate family members of the Organiser are not eligible to enter.

6.3 The Organiser will not pay for any necessary travel VISA costs.

 


7. Scientific Research & Data Collection

 

7.1 Winners may be given the opportunity to have their training metrics analysed using a VO2 Master Analyser.

 

7.2 This analysis is optional, and winners must provide written consent before any data is collected.

 

7.3 Any collected data may be used for research and marketing purposes by the Organiser, but personal data will remain anonymous unless otherwise agreed.


8. Liability and Indemnity

 

8.1 The Organiser is not responsible for:

  • Any costs incurred by winners outside of the specified prize package
  • Any injury, illness, or accident during travel or training sessions
  • Loss or damage of personal belongings

8.2 Winners must obtain travel insurance to cover medical expenses, trip cancellations, and personal liability.

8.3 The Organiser accepts no responsibility for lost, delayed, or misdirected entries due to technical issues or other.

 


9. Privacy and Data Protection

 

9.1 Personal data will be collected, stored, and used in accordance with the UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and the Australian Privacy Act 1988.

9.2 By entering, participants consent to the Organiser using their details for the administration of the Competition and marketing purposes. Entrants can opt out of marketing separately via the unsubscribe link in PLASMAIDE emails..

9.3 Participants may request access to their personal data or withdraw consent at any time by contacting the Organiser.

 

9.4 Winners agree to be filmed and photographed which will be used by the Organiser for marketing purposes across all mediums/marketing channels in perpetuity.


10. General Conditions

 

10.1 The Organiser reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Competition at any time without prior notice.

10.2 No refunds, claims, or exchanges will be entertained in relation to the prize.

 

10.3 These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. However, nothing in these Terms affects the statutory rights of entrants in the United States, United Kingdom, European Union, or other applicable jurisdictions. For U.S. residents, any disputes shall be resolved under applicable U.S. federal or state law, in a venue selected by the Organiser.

10.4 If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect.

 

10. 5 The Competition is intended to comply with the CAP Code (UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing) and U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) rules on promotional contests and advertising.
